Today, I’m super excited to share a fabulous story of Kind Leadership with you! Last June, out of the blue, I got an email from Kristina Rasmussen from THE HEART COMPANY. In the email, Kristina let me know that THE HEART COMPANY was in the midst of creating a new fragrance line to share love and positivity and that one of the scents was going to be KINDNESS in a Bottle. And what Kristina was writing to say was that THE HEART COMPANY would like to donate $1 USD to The Love and Kindness Project Foundation for every bottle of KINDNESS sold.
For those of you who don’t know, The Love and Kindness Project Foundation is a registered public charity founded by Karyn Ross. The Foundation gives away Love and Kindness Buttons (and everything else on their website) for free…because kindness is free! As a “Kindness Raising Foundation” instead of a traditional fundraising organization, all that is asked is that people do acts of kindness instead of donating money. And although people can make a monetary donation, we never ask for, or require one. So, to have someone reach out to offer their financial support was amazingly kind!
And also super-kind is the fact that The Love and Kindness Project Foundation information is on the back of each the packages of KINDNESS in a Bottle!
